Google broadband

Google recently announced the company is getting ready to build and test a new high-speed broadband network. Interestingly, the company is allowing people to nominate their hometowns to be a part of the test. Pretty cool, right? I just wrote an article about the city of Tacoma's involvement. I embedded a video and everything.

There's a wine tasting tomorrow evening at the Dock Street Sandwich Company. I went to a tasting there a couple months ago, and it was actually a lot of fun. The food was really good, as were the wines, although the pours were not very generous. But it did only cost five bucks. Still...
